Golf Club Championship July 22th and 23th, 2013
The humidity lifted and the two round club championship was on the most beautiful weekend yet this year! Peter Beneteau reclaimed his title as Club Champion for the fourth year in a row shooting a 72 ont he first day and a 70 on the second day for a gross total of 142. Keeping it in the family, Chris Beneteau shot 152 over the two days to take the title of Men’s A Flight Low Gross while Michael Beneteau took the Junior Boys Club Champ from his brother who won it last year! Andrew Beneteau was able to win the Junior Boys Low Gross with a 163. Way to go Beneteaus! Christine Fraser shot 166 and won as Ladies Champ with Bonnie King taking the Senior Ladies Championship with 183. Randy Cox fired a 159 overall and Charles O’Neill took the title of Super Senior Champ with a 178.
It was a weekend of excellent golf, lost and found balls, rulings and an overall it turned out to be a great competition. The Membership Association is to be congratulated on their organization in creating a successful tournament. Many volunteered a lot of time to make sure Camden Braes members had a fair and fun time; thank you.
