Ladies Invitational 2011 supporting the fight against Breast Cancer
September 13th saw one of the largest fields of over 110 ladies came out to Camden Braes Golf and Country Club for a great day on the links! Egg and cheese wraps and coffee were enjoyed by all before the round. After the forecast threatened rain all week we ended up having a great day. It was windy, but the sun felt warm and the course was green and lush so all was good! The prizes were amazing and the silent auction had everything from a diamond pendant to a wonderful golf bag from Steve Watt from Investors Group up for grabs! Camden Braes is thrilled to have raised $2,915.00 for the fight against Breast Cancer in the Kingston area. Thank you to Metro, Bayridge for the environmentally friendly grocery bags, Dr. Haworth & Andrea Wyers for the tooth brush and paste and Golf Trends for the breast cancer logo socks. Everyone went home with these fantastic give away’s! Who doesn’t need an extra grocery bag to keep in their car, a toothbrush and an extra pair of socks? Thank you to everyone for your support.
