17th Annual Mixed Invitational 2007
The skies stayed clear for the day, and charity abound at the 17th annual Mixed Invitational at Camden Braes Golf and Country Club. The tournament managed to raise over $472 for Breast Cancer Research through raffles and silent auctions.
The low gross prize for the day went to Camden Braes members Dave and Margaret Grieve, who fired a 79 to win by a stroke over Joe and Lou DaCosta, and Ron and Sharon McClelland.
The low net score for the field went to Gord and Sandra Hazlett, who shot a blazing 61. Perry and Darlene Hiltz missed out on the low net for the field by a stroke, but were low enough to capture the low net honours for the B Flight with their 62.

Bill and Arlene Quinlan tied for the B Flight low gross honours with Bob and Anna Kerr. Both teams shot solid rounds of 84. In the Callaway Handicap division, Gary and Julie Hart shot a net 74 to win by two strokes. There was a great turnout for the annual event, which always succeeds in bringing couples together for a fun round of golf. Great thanks go out to all of the generous prize donations and volunteers who helped make the day special.
